We had two sets of Sunglasses, one mirror and one pair painted chroma green.  I replaced the green in post production with various images.  You can view the video here, http://vimeo.com/35264121.  // Teniamos dos pares de lentes de sol, uno con reflejaba tipo espejo y otros pintados con el color verde cromatico. Reemplace lo verde despues en post producción con varias imagenes.

Jassiel, who played the part of “Mamas Friend”, really embodied the character and seemed to shine with all the attention he was receiving.  Many spectators commented that they would gladly trade places with him.  You can view the video here, http://vimeo.com/35264121.  // Jassiel, quien actuo en el papel de “El amigo de tu mamá“, realmente impersono este personaje y parecia brillar ante toda la atención recibida. My Glidecam 2000 and a Tokina 11-16mm wide angle lens did most of the heavy lifting in this Production. You can view the video here, http://vimeo.com/35264121.   Running in the sand is not easy but the Glidecam 2000 worked out great and kept the moving shots from being to shaky. // Mi Glidecam 2000 y un lente gran angular Tokina 11-16mm fue lo mas pesado de esta Producción.. Corriendo en la arena no es facil con el Glidecam 2000, hice mucho ejercicio al tratar de mantener las tomas estables.

By the time we wrangled the whole crew together it was almost 12noon, So the sun was hot and bright in the sky; not the best time for filming on the beach.  I began shooting using my Canon 7D, a 24-70mm lens and a .09 infrared filter.  It was a winding day which really added to the excitement and craziness of the shoot. // Para el momento en que juntamos a todo el equipo eran casi las 12 del dia, Entonces el sol estaba intenso y brillando radiante; no era el mejor momento para filmar en la playa. Empezé filmando usando mi Canon 7D con un lente 24-70mm y un filtro .09 infrarrojo. Era un dia airoso y realmente añadió una mezcla de emoción y locura a las tomas.

Before filming began, I had a complete shot list ready to go, but as the day progressed and we ran out of time, (many of the actors had to go to work) and we began dropping shots and only filming what was absolutely necessary for the story.  The actors did a great job improvising in these opening scenes and it really set the tone for the rest of the video.  You can view the video here, http://vimeo.com/35264121. // Antes que la producción empezara tenia una lista de tomas planeada, pero el día transcurría y se nos terminaba el tiempo (muchos de los actores tenian que ir a trabajar), empezamos con las tomas y terminamos filmando lo absolutamente necesario para conformar la historia. Los actores hicieron un gran trabajo improvisando en las primeras escenas y realmente continuaron haciendo un buen trabajo el resto del video.

Welcome to “Your Mama’s Friend” Music Video Diary. You can view the video here, http://vimeo.com/35264121. This idea was conceived with inspiration from Rico Tovar, 1930’s Sci-Fi and anything kitsch.  We began this production at 10am December 20th, 2011 at the house of Niña Gonzales, who provided the wardrobe for the four “Wild Girls” in the Music Video, “Your Mamas Friend”.  All four are pictured here (from left to right) Michell, Niña, Valentina and Pio “Hop”.  Originally we talked about doing Daisy Duke of the Dukes of Hazard style costumes but Niña suggested more of a cheesy, 90’s style and it seemed to work better. // Empezamos con esta producción a las 10 de la mañana el 20 de Diciembre del 2011 en casa de Niña González quien fue la artista en el vestuario para estas cuatro “Wild Girls“ en este Video Musical: “Your Mamas Friend” . Esta es una foto de las 4 (de izquierda a derecha) Michell, Niña, Valentina y Pio Hop. Originalmente hablamos de hacer un vestuario estilo como Daisy Duke de los Dukes de Hazard pero Niña sugirió hacerlo mas poco mas naco, tipo años 90 y parece que funciono mejor.

ECOCIDIO
The Unchecked development in the Cancun area has resulted in massive environmental destruction. This Ecocide is threatening all forms of animal and plant life and whether or not we choose to accept it; it’s also threatening our very existence. The underground river systems have already been contaminated. This damage is irreversible. Time is running out. These river systems must be protected internationally by the UNESCO World Heritage Center and be included as a Mexican National Protected Area.
These problems in the Mayan Riviera reflect a world gone mad with greed, whose misplaced values are glaringly obvious with our complete obsession with the game of soccer while we pollute and contaminate our own backyard. We are leaving our children with a big mess.
